Design ID worked on behalf of the Principal Contractor for all design, construction and railway approvals for a modular residential development adjacent to the railway.
Role and Responsibilities:
- CRE/CEM.
- Management of the Client’s design submissions, co-ordinating a multi-discipline design team.
- Ownership of the Technical Approval process with Network Rail.
- Secured BAPA.
- Ensuring no risk to HS1 tunnels in close proximity to the site.
Scope of Works:
- Network Rail F002 and F003.
- RAMS reviews to ensure no damage risk to operational railway during construction.
- Mitigating risk of large crane used to lift the modular units into place.
- Crane platform and mat check, sketch illustrating works issued to NR.
- Piling Rig working platform CAT 3 check.
