Sophie Hughes

Sophie gained a BSc in Environmental Science at Ulster University. On a placement year working as a Sustainability Assistant for the university Estates department, Sophie realised Environmental Sustainability, was her passion and continued her sturies to complete a Masters in Global Strategies for Environmental Health and Sustainability.

Since joining Design ID as a graduate Environmental and Sustainability Engineer, She has become a Certified BREEEAM Infrastructure Assessor. 

BREEAM Infrastructure is the sustainability rating system for Civil and Infrastructure projects, it is an evidence-based sustainability assessment, rating and awards scheme for civil engineering, infrastructure, landscaping and public realm projects.

In her spare time Sophie enjoys mountain hiking and trying out different crafts and bakes.
