Ross Clarke

Ross has just completed his third year at Queens’s University Belfast studying Structural Engineering with Architecture. He is taking his placement year at Design ID with the hopes of expanding his knowledge around experienced engineers. After his placement year, Ross plans to return to university in order to complete his master’s degree.

In his spare time, Ross enjoys running 100 mile trail ultramarathons with his Husky, drawing portrait commissions, and playing the piano. He also enjoys practicing his German and hopes to one day make good use of it on projects in Germany.

Fun fact: Ross once walked 42 miles in the arctic circle, from the sleeper train to the mountains, because he didn’t want to pay for the bus transfer.
