Robert Holland

Robert joined Design ID in 2021 as a Higher Level Apprentice. With a focus on advancing his career in Civil Engineering, he has developed expertise in drainage system design over the past three years.

Robert specialises in drainage and earthworks design within the Civils team, is proficient in industry-standard software including Civil3D and MicroDrainage all whilst studying concurrently for his degree in Civil Engineering at Ulster University.

Robert's dual approach of hands-on work experience and academic study has allowed him to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world projects, contributing valuable skills to Design ID's engineering initiatives.

Fun fact: Robert's most prized posession is a signed photo of David Silva.
