Rebecca Hyndman

Rebecca graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2017 with a MEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering with Architecture and has since been a part of the Design ID team as a Structural Engineer. Since joining the Design ID team, Rebecca has been involved in the design of high-rise residential schemes, educational buildings and leisure facilities.

Rebecca has carried out detailed structural design for a range of projects. She has experience in reinforced concrete and steel design on several projects. She has three years experience liaising with project design teams including Architects, Contractors and Clients. During her time in industry she has gained experience in coordinating Engineering and Architectural drawings in order to achieve the best possible outcome for a project.

Rebecca is an active member of the Northern Ireland Regional Group of the Institution of Structural Engineers- Young Member’s Group, now in her 3rd year on the committee- she is the Secretary.

Fun fact: Rebecca is a sea swimming enthusiast.
