Rahul Wala

Rahul, joined DesignID in August 2023 and currently serves as a Graduate Structural Engineer while contributing to the Research & Development team. His experience spans design, contracting, and project management consultancy.

He earned a first-class distinction in MSc Construction Project Management from Queens University Belfast, with six graduate plus awards. As the class topper and representative of the MSc CPM 2023 cohort, Rahul's dissertation on "Significant Barriers Faced by Construction Stakeholders in Implementing Sustainable Practices in India and Their Mitigation Measures" earned the highest marks, and helped him to enter in 80s club.

At the IStructE Annual Dinner 2023, Rahul was honoured with the Adrian Long Cup for his presentation on "Voided Slabs." His interests in Artificial Intelligence, BIM, and Sustainability drive his contributions to the construction field.

Fluent in four languages—Hindi, English, Marathi, and Gujarati—Rahul enjoys discussions on Cricket, AI, Ayurveda, Yoga, and Meditation.

Fun Fact: Rahul humorously admits to relying on ChatGPT for most of his tasks due to his penchant for laziness.
