Jasmine Buchanan

Jasmine Buchanan is an Apprentice Civil Engineer at Design ID, joining in 2024 after completing her A‑Levels. She is currently undertaking a Higher Level Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering with Queen’s University Belfast, working towards a degree alongside her role.

Jasmine is involved primarily in the civils delivery of community‑focused projects, including schools, hospitals and public‑realm developments. Her experience to date includes supporting scheme and drainage design, pavement and kerb design, 3D modelling and co-ordination of underground services.

Since joining Design ID, Jasmine has developed a strong technical foundation using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Navisworks, with additional experience in ArcGIS for mapping and trail‑based work. She is increasingly taking ownership of defined elements of projects, brings a proactive and detail‑focused approach to her work, and values the collaborative, team‑driven culture of Design ID.
