Ben Gibson

Ben is an Apprentice Engineer at Design ID, joining the team after successfully completing A Levels at Portadown College. He is completing Queen’s University Belfast’s Civil Engineering Higher Level Apprenticeship, studying part‑time while gaining practical experience in industry.

In his role, Ben is developing core technical skills across analysis, modelling and design, and is building a strong understanding of how engineering principles are applied in real project environments. He brings enthusiasm, a proactive approach and a commitment to learning, aiming to develop a solid foundation for a long‑term career in civil engineering.

At Design ID, Ben supports project teams with day‑to‑day engineering tasks while steadily expanding his knowledge through hands‑on involvement across a range of projects.
