Design ID were appointed by The McAvoy Group to provide structural design services for the design of a modular classroom for Bournemouth Borough Council. The building, situated over the footprint of a former swimming pool, provides additional educational space to Malmesbury Park School. Offsite manufacture of the modules resulted in a shortened programme with module steelwork assembly running in parallel with foundation construction to rapidly meet the school’s expansion needs.
