National Apprentice Week - 7-13th February 2022

08, FEB, 2022

Sam Shaw one of our work+ apprentices working in our Hillsborough office.

Sam joined Design ID in September 2021.

" An apprenticeship gave me the opportunity to achieve the qualifications while getting real, hands - on practical experience in a real job role. Engineering was an obvious choice for me as it is something I have always enjoyed, solving problems and working as part of a team to make a difference. I have already seen the benefits of an apprenticeship over the traditional route. I will have a secure job with years’ experience and knowledge which gives me an advantage."

National Apprentice Week - 7-13th February 2022

Robert joined Design ID in August 2021 as a Work+ Apprentice.

"As an apprentice you do not need to worry about finance and how costly your university experience could be, as it is all paid for by your training providers. It has been interesting for me to experience how an engineering company operates, and the amount of thought that goes into every process. The apprenticeship route has given me such a variety of tasks and experiences which you cannot get from a full-time course."
