Harrod’s Eccentric Garden, Chelsea Flower Show 2016

Following the grand unveiling, Design ID are thrilled be able to announce our involvement in the design of the most eccentric garden that Chelsea has ever seen! Born in the imagination of Diarmuid Gavin, and made a reality through the hard work of Zap Architecture, Nugent Manufacturing, Design ID, and many others. The design consists of spinning trees, bobbing plants, rotating flower beds, and a folly with a roof that lifts 2m into the air! Design ID designed the folly structure and foundations, and the containment for all of the other underground mechanical equipment.
