Tim Janssen

Tim is a Principal Engineer at Design ID and a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers. He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and has more than seven years’ experience delivering infrastructure projects across multiple RIBA stages, from early concept through to construction and handover.

Tim specialises in hydraulic modelling, highway and rail drainage systems, and the development of flood mitigation and combined sewer overflow management strategies. He has worked closely with clients, regulators and delivery teams to develop practical solutions that meet regulatory requirements and support efficient project delivery.

At Design ID, Tim contributes to the delivery of complex infrastructure projects and supports multidisciplinary coordination across design teams. He is particularly focused on delivering clear, buildable engineering solutions while improving efficiency through developing digital tools.
