Yahya Hajjami

Yahya is a Engineer at Design ID and joined in 2024 after completing his MEng in Civil Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast. He previously spent a summer internship with the company, an experience that confirmed his desire to begin his career in an environment where he could learn from experienced mentors and develop his passion for civil and infrastructure design.

During his placement, Yahya gained hands‑on experience across both the civil and structural teams, contributing to drainage design, levels drawings and flood‑risk assessments, as well as supporting infrastructure projects involving retaining walls, footbridges and foundation design.

He brings curiosity, enthusiasm and a commitment to continuous learning, and is keen to build his skills while contributing to thoughtful, well‑coordinated engineering solutions.
