Harry McGovern

Harry is a Engineer at Design ID and holds a First Class MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Exeter, graduating in 2025. During his degree, he completed two structural engineering internships in Bristol and Exeter, where he gained hands‑on experience working on live commercial, industrial and residential projects.

Alongside his academic training, Harry has spent several years working as a general labourer on domestic building sites. This practical background has given him a strong appreciation for how design decisions play out on site and has shaped his interest in delivering buildable, well‑coordinated engineering solutions.

Harry brings enthusiasm, curiosity and a strong work ethic to the team, and is excited to develop his technical skills within Design ID.
