Elena Donnelly

Elena is a Graduate Engineer at Design ID and joined the practice in September 2025 after completing her Master’s degree in Structural Engineering with Architecture at Queen’s University Belfast, graduating with First Class Honours. During her third year, she completed a year‑long industry placement with Design ID, working within the Civil Infrastructure team. This experience exposed her to a wide range of projects and helped deepen her understanding of civil engineering design and delivery.

After completing her degree, Elena returned to Design ID and now works as part of the Civil Engineering team. She brings enthusiasm, strong technical foundations and a collaborative mindset, and is focused on developing her skills across infrastructure design while contributing to coordinated, high‑quality project outcomes.
