Laurie Haire

Laurie is the Accounts Manager at Design ID and has been a valued part of the team for more than eight years. With a career spanning over three decades, she brings extensive experience across finance, purchasing, administration and customer service. Laurie began her career in 1989 as a receptionist and office administrator for a local accountancy firm and has since built her skills through a wide range of roles, becoming partly qualified with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) along the way.

She has worked across sectors including electronics, manufacturing, printing and distribution, gaining deep knowledge of purchase ledger accounting, financial processes and office operations. Largely self‑taught in IT, Laurie is known for her adaptability, problem‑solving approach and willingness to get involved wherever needed.

At Design ID, she oversees day‑to‑day finance operations with accuracy and dedication ,often joking that she is “part of the furniture” and proudly calling herself a “DID lifer.”
