Ronan Gormley

Ronan is a Chartered Civil Engineer over ten years’ experience in the construction industry. He specialises in highway, drainage, earthworks and utility design to assist clients from project inception through to detailed design and construction supervision. After graduating from Queen’s University Belfast in 2010, Ronan relocated to London to work as an Infrastructure Engineer for Buro Happold – working on a variety of projects within residential, education, commercial and historical sectors both internationally and within the UK. He undertook a two year secondment in Kuwait in the Middle East to develop his understanding of construction methodologies and supervise construction of a new city in the south of the country, Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City. Ronan joined Design ID in January 2018 as a Senior Civil Engineer and in 2020 progressed to Associate. Outside of work, Ronan can be found on a golf course or a football pitch, and if not playing sport he will be watching it on tv!
